MOTOR VEHICLES, WATERCRAFT AND AVIATION 691 state, and refunding to said owner a portion of the motor vehicle registration fee. AN ACT to repeal Section 301.120 of Title XIX, Chapter 301, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1949, dealing with the return of license plates to the Director of Revenue when the owner of a motor vehicle moves the vehicle to another state, and refunding to said owner a portion of the motor vehicle registration fee, and to enact in lieu thereof a new section relating to the same subject and to be known as Section 301.120. SECTION 1. Repealing Section 301.120 of Title XIX, Chapter 301, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1949, and enacting a new section in lieu thereof. SECTION 301.120. License when. plates returned, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: Section 1. Repealing Section 301.120 of Title XIX, Chapter 301, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1949, and enacting a new section in lieu thereof.—That Section 301.120 of Title XIX, Chapter 301, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1949, relating to the return of license plates to the Director of Revenue when the owner moves the vehicle to another state, is hereby repealed and a new section enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 301.120 and to read as follows: Section 301.120. License plates returned, when.—When the owner of a motor vehicle moves the vehicle to another state, he shall return the license plate to the Director of Revenue within ninety days or upon the expiration of the period of reciprocity granted by the new state of residence; or if the owner of a motor vehicle ceases to operate the vehicle in Missouri, he shall return the license plate to the Director of Revenue within ninety days. Approved July 27, 1951. [H. B. 211.] MOTOR VEHICLES, WATERCRAFT AND AVIATION: To provide that no state motor vehicle registration license shall be issued unless proof is given that state and county tangible property taxes if due have been paid. AN ACT to provide that no state motor vehicle registration license shall be issued unless proof is given that stale and county tangible personal property taxes if due have been paid, with an effective date. SECTION 1. Personal property taxes to be paid before issuance of license. SECTION 2. Tax receipt. 3. Effective date of act. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: Section 1.
